Introduction

I have had fun thinking up Atari projects using my new 3D printers. My latest creation is a Retro Based LED platform for adding some colorful bling to my Atari 800XL. I designed the base using TinkerCAD and printed it using translucent PLA filament. I ran an LED light strip through the built-in grooves for a fun colorful accent to my Atari.

Instructions

I printed some of these and put them on my Etsy store for $25 plus shipping to U.S. locations. You can also purchase the STL file on Etsy for $10 to print it yourself for personal use. You will need to purchase you own LED light strip. I got a sound-activated one from Govee for about $30 on Amazon.

Comments

I hope you find the Retro Base LED useful and fun. I plan to make some additional variations for some of the other computers and consoles such as the Atari 800 (bigger) and the 2600 (smaller). Let me know if you have any suggestions or requests!
