Task: Power Your Atari XL and XE 8-Bit Computers with USB-C
Needed: Web browser, Atari XL or XE
Time: 5-10 minutes
Introduction
There are several different methods for providing power to your Atari 8-bit computers. You can use the old school power supplies from the 1980s which seem to be pretty reliable with a few exceptions. There are also newly made power supplies that match the voltage and amperage of the original units. These might be more trustworthy. Yet another option is to power your Atari by USB-C which is quickly becoming the new USB standard. Several USB-C power adaptors are now widely available.
Instructions
You can purchase a USB-C power adaptor from Mozzwald for $11 or on eBay for $11.25. There might be other sellers as well. I purchased the ones shown below from Mozzwald.

Comments
This seems like a nice option if you regularly power devices with USB-C.
Note the Mozzwald adaptors were out of stock at the time of this post.
