Introduction
This is a must browse web page with some amazing resources for those interested in programming and game development for the Atari 8-bit consoles including the 2600, 5200, and 7800. Other platforms such as the NES and coin-ops are included as well. The web page is developed and maintained by author Steven Hugg who penned the awesome 2016 book on Making Games for the Atari 2600 which is a key resource for learning how to code games for this console in 6502 assembly language. This book and his other books are featured on the website along with his amazing IDE which allows you to code, compile, and run programs right in your browser!

Comments
Thanks Steven Hugg for this amazing resource. Your IDE is truly impressive. Would love to see the Atari 8-bit computers added to this!
My Atari 2600 game Gene Medic is featured on his open-source software list. You can edit my code and play the game using the IDE although it runs slower than the actual game.
