Introduction
It can be challenging to find comprehensive and safe sources of Atari software and games online. The Internet Archive is certainly one of my favorites. Another go-to source is Atari Mania. They claim to be “The world’s finest Atari database” and they might just be right. Atari Mania includes software and games for all the Atari 8-bit computers and consoles as well as other platforms such as the Lynx. Jaguar, and ST series of 16-bit computers.
As of this posting, they claim to have more than 9,000 games for the Atari 2600 and more than 10,000 games and 1,000 utilities for the Atari 400/800/XL/XE computers. Check it out!
