Task: Explore Atari-Related Posts on Hackaday
Needed: A web browser
Time: 15-30 minutes
Introduction
Hackaday is a website that posts daily hardware and software hacks and projects. I was pleased to learn that they did a post about this Atari Projects resource. Their post, “Classic 8-bit Computing the Atari Way“, is nicely written and represents some good exposure for the Atari 8-bit computers and consoles.
Clicking on the Atari tag at the end of the Hackaday piece reveals more than 80 articles that mention Atari. These represent a variety of different topics from converting the Atari 2600 into a home computer, honoring Chuck Peddle, using a 65XE as a modern computer keyboard, and the SVG rendering project from Kay Savetz. Definitely worth exploring.
